01The service

GuildGuard is a Discord bot that protects servers against nukes, raids, spam and scams, with a web dashboard at guildguardbot.com. It is provided by GuildGuard ("we", "us") and is not affiliated with Discord Inc. You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

02Who can use it

You must be old enough to use Discord where you live (at least 13), and old enough to enter a contract, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to buy a plan. If you use GuildGuard for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attack, overload, scan or try to break into the bot, the website, its API or its database;
• get around rate limits, the human check, captchas, plan limits or payment checks, or automate sign-ins or verification;
• use GuildGuard to harass, dox or unfairly target people, or to break any law;
• copy, resell or rebrand the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows;
• use someone else's account or server without their permission.

If you find a security problem, report it to us privately. Good-faith reports are welcome and won't be treated as misuse.

04Your server

• You are responsible for how GuildGuard is configured in servers you manage, including who is whitelisted and which actions it takes (timeouts, kicks, bans, lockdowns, role removal).
• GuildGuard can only act on members and roles below its own role, and it needs the permissions it asks for. Removing them limits what it can protect.
• Only people with the Manage Server permission, or the server owner, can change settings in the dashboard. Some options, such as the whitelist, are owner-only.

05Plans & payments

• Per server. Each plan (Basic or Premium) applies to the one server you buy it for. Prices are listed in USD on the plans page, and the price at checkout is what you pay.
• No automatic renewal. A plan runs for the period you paid for (one month or one year) and then the server returns to Free. We never charge you again without a new checkout.
• Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments, and their terms apply on their checkout. Network fees and exchange rates are set by the network and NOWPayments.
• Activation. A plan activates once NOWPayments confirms the full amount. Underpaid, failed or expired payments don't activate a plan; contact us about underpayments.
• Upgrades and extensions. Buying the same plan again adds time. Upgrading turns your unused time into time on the higher plan, at the ratio of the monthly prices.
• Changes to prices or features never affect a period you have already paid for.

06Refunds

Crypto payments can't be reversed, so purchases are generally final. We will, however, make it right if:

• you paid but the plan was not activated because of a problem on our side: we will activate it or refund it;
• a paid feature does not work for a long period because of us: we will extend your plan or give a pro-rata refund.

Contact us within 14 days with the order ID. Approved refunds are paid in crypto to an address you give, minus network fees. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

07Availability

We work to keep GuildGuard online and fast, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Discord outages, rate limits, maintenance or events outside our control can stop the bot from acting. We may change, improve or remove features. If we remove a paid feature during your plan, we will offer a fair extension or refund.

08Liability

As far as the law allows, GuildGuard is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, members, messages or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, such as for fraud.

09Ending

You can stop using GuildGuard at any time by removing the bot from your server and logging out. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable we will warn you first. If we end a paid plan without you breaking these terms, we refund the unused time.

10Changes

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the website or dashboard before they apply. If you keep using GuildGuard after that, you accept the new terms.
